Hello! This is LipoMinac365. In this article we are going to talk about a step by step guide to prepare you for your liposuction procedure, from someone who had experience with liposuction before, here’s what we think are important to ensure smooth procedure and optimal recovery.

1. Consultation and Preoperative Instructions

2. Medical Preparations

3. Adjust Your Lifestyle

4. The Day Before Surgery

Avoid eating and drinking, follow your surgeon’s advice regarding this, usually   it’s advised to start fasting 8 hours before the surgery, bring loose underwears and comfy clothes that can be easily wear after surgery, remove all makeup and nail polish and remove all your accessories (including piercings) before coming to hospitals due to risk of loss

5. Transportation and Care

You won’t be able to drive home after the surgery due to anesthesia so please make sure to have someone to pick you up and have someone stay with you for at least the first night after surgery!

6. Prepare your home for recovery

Last but not least, create a recovery space, set up a comfortable area with pillows, blanket, entertainments with stock up essentials and don’t forget to wear your compression garment for around 2 weeks after surgery (or as recommended by your doctor) and take your pain medications and antibiotics that prescribed by your doctor!
