Hello! This is LipoMinac365. After undergoing liposuction or LAMS , proper care is essential to ensure optimal results and minimize complications. Here are some general things of what to avoid after undergoing Liposuction / LAMS!

1. Strenuous Physical Activities

Avoid intense exercise, heavy lifting or activities that strain the treated area for as advised by your doctor, on early days its best to stick to light walking to promote blood circulation and reduce swelling

2. Skipping Compression Garments

Please make sure to keep on wearing your compression garment. As it helps reduce swelling, improve contouring, and support the healing process. follow your doctor’s guidelines on how long to wear it

3. Poor Diet and Dehydrated

Avoid consuming high sodium, processed, or sugary foods, as they can exacerbate swelling and make sure to stay dehydrated and focus on balanced meals to support healing

4.  Smoking and Alcohol Consumption

As Smoking is generally bad it can further impair wound healing and increase the risk of complications after surgery and make sure to avoid drinking for at least a month as it can interfere with medications and delay recovery

5. Hot Baths, Saunas, Heating Pads

Avoid soaking in hot baths,saunas or swimming pools for 2-4 weeks to prevent infection at incision sites. stick to gentle showers. after liposuction or LAMS because of reduced sensation on skin due to swelling and nerve irritation, This can make it difficult to detect if the heating pad is too hot, potentially causing burns

6. Ignoring Pain or Signs of Infections

Do not ignore Severe pain, Unusual Redness, fever, Or Discharge from the treated area. These Could indicate infection and require immediate medical attention

7. Neglecting Follow Up treatments

Do not skip your scheduled follow up visit with your surgeon as they monitor your progress and ensure proper healing.

Always follow the specific post-operative care instructions provided by your surgeons, as recommendations may vary depending on your procedure and individual recovery!
