Liposuction FAQ 1
Even if you get liposuction, you won’t get fat again, right?
Liposuction is a surgery that reduces the number of fat cells, which is the root cause of obesity, rather than just reducing the size of fat cells like exercise or surgery. Therefore, as long as you maintain your weight, the operated area will not gain any more and can last permanently. If you properly control your diet to avoid gaining weight, you can maintain a slim figure for a long time.
When can I shower or exercise?
It is recommended to remove the stitches and shower 2 weeks after liposuction, but you can attach a waterproof band to the surgical area and shower lightly 2-3 days after surgery. Additionally, you can do light exercise the next day and resume your daily life right away.
How long does the pain last?
Bruising, swelling, and pain usually recover in about two weeks. However, depending on individual differences, it may last longer.
