The process of checking changes in weight and size before and after the procedure is important when visually checking the effect of the procedure and making up for any shortcomings with exercise and diet. This is because the attitude toward post-procedure care varies depending on whether or not you can see your body’s condition with your own eyes through scientific measurement methods. After the Lams procedure, the overall body line, weight, size, etc. of the changing body shape are analyzed in detail through a 3D body shape measuring device that analyzes the before and after effects of the body shape that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Sufficient water intake and rest help recovery.

It is a good idea to drink plenty of water after receiving the procedure. When fat is removed through the Lams procedure, body fluid is also removed along with the fat. You need to drink more water than usual to replenish the amount of fluid lost. Additionally, a fat-decomposing solution is injected at the end of the procedure, and if you drink enough water, your metabolism becomes active and the fat-decomposing solution and melted fat that could not come out are quickly discharged, further maximizing the diet effect. When fat is removed from the body, blood circulation and metabolic function will inevitably decline compared to before the procedure, so you must drink a lot of water.

After 1-2 days, your metabolic function will return to normal, but in the meantime, you may feel dizzy when you sit down. On the day of the procedure and the next day, take rest by eating soft foods that are easy to digest, and get up slowly when getting up from sitting or lying down.

No alcohol or smoking! Avoid electric blankets, hot packs, and saunas!

Recovery is quick when blood circulation is good. Alcohol temporarily dilates blood vessels and improves blood circulation, but the alcohol component puts a strain on the liver and ultimately slows down metabolism. That is why it is best to avoid alcohol during the recovery period. Smoking not only narrows blood vessels, but also destroys the nutrients our body needs, and contains a lot of harmful substances, including nicotine, so avoid it at all costs.

Also, electric blankets, hot packs, and saunas are dangerous. Subcutaneous fat acts as a protective layer to maintain body temperature, so if a large amount of fat is suddenly removed, you may feel cold. The cold may persist for a few days after the surgery. If you use an electric blanket, hot pack, or take a sauna because of the cold, your response to heat may slow down due to the numbed sensation after the procedure, which may result in burns. In severe cases, the skin may become necrotic due to heat, so it must be absolutely avoided. Conversely, there may be a feeling of heat in the area where liposuction was performed, and even in this case, ice packs are absolutely prohibited. This is because you can get frostbite when your senses are dulled.
